We’re excited to be hiring a Senior Proposition Analyst to join our Retirement Proposition team.  

Our team designs, develops and manages long-term savings products for customers and plays a central role in delivering Royal London’s ambition to be a Retirement Leader.

As part of the proposition function, you’ll help drive and deliver the strategy behind our retirement proposition.  This includes ensuring our products and solutions remain competitive, compliant, aligned to customer needs, and consistent across life stages.

You’ll work closely with Customer Lifestage Directors, distribution, marketing, actuarial teams, legal and risk partners, and operational colleagues to make sure our propositions deliver great outcomes and offer genuine value for money.

About the role 

• Drive the vision and priorities for your pension and ISA squad, ensuring changes are well‑defined, insight‑led, and aligned to strategic outcomes. 

• Lead and deliver product change initiatives, using market intelligence and customer insight to shape effective, compliant product solutions. 

• Maintain deep technical expertise in relevant products, supporting decision‑making and ensuring product materials remain accurate and fit for purpose. 


• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve end‑to‑end product journeys and ensure propositions deliver strong customer and commercial outcomes. 


• Act as a role model within the community—sharing expertise, guiding colleagues, and championing best practice and governance. 


• Proactively identify and manage risks, ensuring governance expectations are met and decisions reflect customer, business, and regulatory needs. 

About you 

• Strong expertise in relevant products, markets and processes, with up‑to‑date knowledge of competitor and industry trends. 

• Solid understanding of the financial services regulatory environment and ability to think creatively when shaping product solutions. 

• Commercial awareness with the ability to design innovative, customer‑focused propositions and influence strategic decisions. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to build strong partnerships and explain complex ideas clearly. 

• Able to work independently, bring insight and creativity to problem‑solving, and challenge existing ways of working constructively. 

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills to support decisions, documentation and technical accuracy. 

• Collaborative, adaptable and proactive, with the ability to guide and support colleagues at varying experience levels.
