Senior Pump Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a global industrial Engineering Services company in West Yorkshire to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pump Engineer for their repair and refurbishment workshop.

Working closely with the Works Manager, Shop Supervisors, and skilled technicians, the Senior Pump Engineer will oversee the refurbishment of large industrial pumps and associated engineering components, from full strip down, repair, rebuild, and finishing.

Responsibilities of the Senior Pump Engineer include:

• Manage the refurbishment of pumps and engineering components processes
• Support workshop planning
• Identifying faults, areas of wear and tear, and offering repair solutions
• Provide direction and technical assistance to the engineering team and keep the customer regularly updated

We would be keen to speak with Senior Pump Engineers with the following:

• Excellent communication skills
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of large industrial pumps
• Extensive experience working with various types of centrifugal pumps- industries such as water and chemical would be an advantage
• Practical engineering and technical experience in a supervisory capacity
