Senior Quality Control Engineer - FTC

NEW SENIOR QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER FTC BASED IN LITTLEHAMPTON.

We are searching for an experienced Senior Quality Control Engineer to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in driving quality improvements across manufacturing operations, supporting New Product Introduction activities, and ensuring products and processes meet the highest quality standards.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and suppliers, you will lead investigations into quality issues, perform audits, analyse manufacturing data and implement robust corrective actions to improve product quality and operational performance.

Responsibilities as a Senior Quality Control Engineer FTC in Littlehampton.

* Support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using root cause analysis and structured problem solving techniques.

* Monitor and analyse First Pass Yield data, identifying trends and leading improvement activities.

* Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001, internal procedures and customer requirements, ensuring timely follow up of findings.

* Perform workstation and process audits to maintain compliance across manufacturing operations.

* Lead product and process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reliability and manufacturing performance.

* Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards and internal procedures.

Requirements as a Senior Quality Control Engineer FTC in ​​​​​​​Littlehampton.

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience maintaining Quality Management Systems.

* Strong understanding of quality tools including FMEA, APQP and PPAP. Six Sigma experience would be advantageous.

* Experience supporting New Product Introduction programmes.
