Senior Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

• Support the Production team by providing technical expertise in quality engineering.
• Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Manage customer complaints and drive corrective actions using 8D methodology.
• Develop and maintain quality management system documentation (APQP, PPAP)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Analyse quality data from ERP systems and customer feedback to identify trends for improvement.

Senior Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -

• Experience within a similar role, Quality Lead, Quality Manager etc.
• Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of QMS, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Able to use core tools such as 8D, PPAP, and Control Plans.
• Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC) or relevant training.
