TS Recruitment are actively working with a Main Contractor who are looking to add an additional Quantity Surveyorto theirteam to work on high end housing and apartment conversions in Portsmouth.

Benefits

• Basic salary £60-70k doe
• Company car or car allowance

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:

Key Responsibilities

• Commerciallymanage a largehousing and apartment refurb project
• Site based role with full commercial responsibility including, variations,valuations cost value reportsand client meetings
• Manage subcontractor and supplier approvalsand procurement processes
• Prepare and issue contracts
• Reconcile invoices and approve payments
• Prepare and submit final accounts

• Work on luxury housing and apartment conversionsoften on listed buildings
• Involvement in new build and refurbishment projects, focusing on commercial luxury accommodation
• Property values often £500- £1 million plus

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Sector: Construction main contractor or housing experience
• Education: Degree-level qualification is advantageous
• Skills: Strong IT and numerical proficiency
• License: Valid UK driving license
