Senior Quantity Surveyor

?? Permanent Role | Salary: Negotiable
We're seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a permanent basis, working on civil engineering projects including highways, structures, river works, and flood protection.
Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor junior staff and support team development
• Maximise contract profitability and monitor costs
• Identify and manage commercial risks
• Prepare estimates and procure subcontractors
• Manage subcontractor payments and contract variations
• Support dispute resolution processes
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent numeracy and IT proficiency
• Experience with NEC contracts and working with main contractors
• Background in civil engineering projects
