Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Falmer, Sussex
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 + car/travel & package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a capital delivery framework within the utilities sector. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor, overseeing a number of subcontract packages and projects across the region.

• Some of the Senior Quantity Surveyors key main will include:
• Working closely with the design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control costs
• Managing the main contract to ensure contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as required
• Preparation and issuing of subcontract documentation
• Preparation of project cost and value reporting, budgets and forecasts
• Assist with the management and development of junior commercial staff
• Building long lasting professional relationships with the client and the supply chain

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have previous experience working in a main contracting environment on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects. You'll also need a detailed understanding of either the NEC or FIDIC suite of contracts and first class communication skills.
