A prestigious high-end residential developer is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their West London team. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering structured quantity surveying services across super-prime residential developments, ensuring exceptional commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.
This Senior Quantity Surveyor position will involve leading core commercial activities, working closely with construction teams, consultants and senior management to maintain strong cost control and consistent quantity surveying standards across bespoke luxury schemes.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a well-established residential developer known for delivering exceptional super-prime homes across some of London's most prestigious locations. With a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship, the business operates with a highly collaborative leadership team and maintains a strong pipeline of exclusive residential projects.

The Role
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take responsibility for the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
The role will include:
Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets and feasibility studies * Managing tender documentation and contract preparation * Leading subcontract procurement and commercial negotiations * Monitoring valuations, variations and change control * Managing risk and value engineering processes * Overseeing interim valuations and final accounts * Producing detailed financial and progress reportsThe Senior Quantity Surveyor?
You will be commercially astute, detail-focused and confident operating within a high-end residential construction environment.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline * Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Project QS within residential construction * Experience delivering high-end or luxury residential projects desirable * Strong knowledge of building contracts * Experience managing projects through the full development lifecycle * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * MRICS desirable or working towardsIn return……?
