Senior Quantity Surveyor - Defence Infrastructure Projects

Location: Barrow-in-Furness - 4 Days On-Site / Fridays Work From Home

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + £5,300 Car Allowance + 10% Working Away Uplift + £1,450 Per Month Tax-Free Living Away Allowance

Package includes:

Up to £75,000 salary
£5,300 annual car allowance
10% working away uplift

Working Arrangement:

Site-based in Barrow-in-Furness four days per week

Key Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Commercial management of major engineering, construction and infrastructure projects
Cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting
NEC contract administration
Change control, variations and claims management
Cash flow forecasting and payment applications
Procurement and management of subcontractors
Risk and opportunity management
Final account negotiation and agreement
Building strong stakeholder and client relationships

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
Background within construction, infrastructure, engineering, MEP, defence, nuclear or major projects
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
NEC contract experience preferred
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
bility to obtain Security Clearance is essential
