Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist facade contractor based in Essex who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

The Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple facade projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the commercial aspects of multiple facade and cladding projects.

* Prepare, review and negotiate subcontractor packages.

* Produce valuations, variations, cost reports and final accounts.

* Monitor project budgets, forecasts and cash flow.

* Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

* Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators and Clients to maximise project profitability.

* Identify commercial risks and opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

* Previous experience working on facade, cladding or external envelope projects is highly desirable.

* Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.

* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is preferred.
