Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing main contractor based in Petersfield, Hampshire, delivering high-quality fit out, refurbishment and cut & carve projects across London and South East.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with clients, site teams and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the commercial aspects of multiple fit out, refurbishment and cut & carve projects.

* Prepare cost plans, budgets, valuations and financial reports.

* Procure and manage subcontractor packages.

* Negotiate subcontract agreements and manage contractual obligations.

* Prepare applications for payment, variations and final accounts.

* Monitor project costs, forecasts and commercial performance.

* Produce monthly CVRs and commercial reports.

* Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.

* Work closely with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

To be considered, you should have:

* Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up.

* A strong background delivering fit out, refurbishment and cut & carve projects.

* Experience working for a main contractor.

* Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.

* Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.

* The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads effectively.

* A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.

* A full UK Driving Licence.
