Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Education & Residential Construction

An established and growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its West Midlands team based in Dudley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional looking to work across a varied portfolio of projects, predominantly within the education sector, alongside selected residential developments.

You will join a highly respected consultancy environment where client relationships, technical excellence and professional development are at the heart of the business.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering full pre and post-contract quantity surveying services across a range of projects from inception through to final account.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Cost planning and estimating

* Tender preparation and procurement

* Contract administration

* Valuations and payment applications

* Cost reporting and forecasting

* Change control and variations management

* Final accounts

* Client liaison and stakeholder management

* Supporting project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates who possess:

* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor

* Consultancy or contractor background considered

* Experience within education, public sector or residential projects advantageous

* Good contractual knowledge

* Strong communication and client-facing skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* Degree qualified or equivalent preferred

* Ambition to progress within a growing business
