The Opportunity

In this role you will be the key on-site supplier contact, you’ll lead the Raw Materials Technical Team and take ownership of the inspection, risk assessment, and release of all incoming ingredients and packaging. Your role will be crucial in:

Key Responsibilities :

• Managing raw material assessment and quarantine processes via SAP
• Producing photographic and written specifications to support consistent quality
• Maintaining due diligence records and raw material risk assessments
• Monitoring supplier performance through robust KPIs and supplier visits
• Supporting customer complaint investigations and factory audits
• Collaborating closely with the process development team and group SMEs

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in QA or raw materials roles within food manufacturing
• Experience in a people management position
• Level 4 Food Safety qualification (minimum)
• HACCP Level 3 (or higher)
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of SAP, Excel, and specification systems (Foods Connected preferred)
