iGii have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Reagent Scientist to join their growing Bioassay & Reagents department. Working closely with our Sensors & Assay Development team and the wider R&D department, you’ll play a key role in developing and testing reagents for cutting-edge Sensor platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Reagents Scientist to work in a high-growth environment with a fast-paced and collaborative culture where you will work with some fantastic customers conducting research at the forefront of science and technology.
Your purpose in the Role:
The Senior Reagent Scientist will apply their expertise to the development and testing of reagents across multiple assay platforms. Working collaboratively within our R&D team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality experimental execution, analysing data rigorously, and producing clear, technically robust reports which align with the relevant quality and regulatory standards.

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a subject matter expert in reagent development with a strong foundation in chemistry and biochemistry and practical experience in reagent design and verification.
Essential Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or a closely related discipline, with a minimum of relevant three years’ post-doctoral or industrial experience
Alternatively, at least five years of directly relevant industrial experience in reagent development.
