Senior Recruitment Consultant / Team Leader – Doctors
Location: Romford Salary up to £45,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:30 Working Pattern: Office Based, 5 Days per Week
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant or Team Leader to join an established healthcare recruitment agency with ambitious growth plans.
You will join the Doctors division, which already has an established client base, access to all relevant recruitment portals and a strong pipeline of incoming vacancies.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a recruitment desk, develop existing relationships and help build further growth within a specialist medical recruitment market.
The role is open to candidates from any medical speciality, provided you have experience recruiting at Middle Grade level or above.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a specialist Doctors recruitment desk.
Build relationships with NHS trusts, private healthcare providers and other key clients.
Source, attract and place locum and permanent medical professionals.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy briefing through to placement.
Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional business.
Utilise established candidate and client databases to generate new placements.
Manage incoming vacancies and ensure client requirements are met efficiently.
Negotiate rates, fees and terms with clients and candidates.
Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process.
Support and develop the wider Doctors recruitment team.
Drive individual and team billing performance against agreed targets.
Requirements
Previous experience within healthcare recruitment, specifically Doctors.
Experience recruiting Middle Grade doctors or above.
NHS recruitment experience is highly desirable.
Experience billing consistently within a locum or permanent recruitment environment.
Previous Senior Recruitment Consultant or Team Leader experience would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of medical recruitment processes and compliance.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
Commercially driven, ambitious and motivated by financial success.
Ability to manage a busy desk and develop new business opportunities.
