At Labcorp near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire we are looking to recruit an experienced Research Analyst to join our expanding Metabolism team. They will focus on animal metabolism, while also supporting a range of other study types including biodegredation, dermal penetration, environmental fate and plant metabolism. This will give you great exposure in working with different product lines and provide you with a wider skill set and experience.

Job responsibilities include:

• Performing a variety of laboratory assays following standard procedures and study protocols

• Critical review of processes and study plans, suggesting changes where appropriate

• Reviewing own work for overall accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and soundness of technical judgement

• Maintaining study documentation alongside client and regulatory expectations

• Use of LIMS software

• Contributing to wider method development and validations projects

• Maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment at all times

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a relevant scientific degree or equivalent laboratory experience

• Have experience in a fast paced regulated laboratory setting, understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and study protocols

• Be able to effectively communicate throughout the life cycle of a study with peers and study management

• Be highly motivated to produce high quality work against regulatory expectations

• Be able to motivate and influence others to ensure timely delivery of high quality results, and use own experiences to help in training of junior team members

• Have experience in troubleshooting problems and informing appropriate channels for the reporting of issues
