Your Role

Hays Solutions and Advisory is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Researcher to join our dynamic team. This quality driven research offering is highly regarded by its clients and has developed and grown extensively over the last few years and now has a need to appoint a Senior Researcher to our team to support in the provision of market intelligence and benchmarking consultancy services.

What it looks like day to day:

• You will work collaboratively with the Sales/Business Lead, playing a key role in the delivery of Client led research, offering specialist knowledge and insight, based on a combination of desk-based research and telephone networking. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Client's remuneration, reward, and workforce strategies across an array of sectors, industries, and levels, including Board level.
• Through effective communication, rapport building skills and quality driven approach, you will be able to utilise a variety of research tools, as well as identify and engage with a broad range of individuals, to gather niche specialist market Intelligence
• At Senior level you will consult directly with clients, both with the Sales/Business Lead and independently, developing a commercial approach to business development and client delivery. This will allow the Senior Researcher to support the Sales/Business Lead in making informed recommendations to. In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to provide mentorship to the other junior Researchers in the team. This will allow them to build their business acumen and in turn develop their research skills.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous Experience in a Researcher role in a benchmarking environment.
• Previous experience as an Executive Search resource, or Market Intelligence consultancy role would be highly advantageous
• A confident communicator who is conscientious, organised, inquisitive and solutions orientated, you will drive high levels of customer service, tenacity, and creativity.
• You will be required to operate in a quality driven environment where attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication is paramount.
• Have prior HR or business consultancy exposure.
