Senior Risk Manager

Huntswood are looking for an experience and driven Senior Risk Manager to support a large project with our retail baking client. As a Risk Manager you will be leading activities that ensure we meet all Laws, Rules, and Regulations (LRR) related to Own Funds, Eligible Liabilities, and RWA risk types.

What you'll be doing:

• Leverage broad 1LOD Risk experience (Credit, Market, Counterparty, CVA) to evidence and document compliance
• Apply deep knowledge of Capital and RWA LRRs (CRR, PRA, Supervisory Statements)
• Analyse complex financial and risk data to support robust assurance
• Drive risk management, audit, or controls initiatives across multiple teams and projects
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, delivering high-quality documentation and reporting

What we're looking for:

• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex or sensitive information to a variety of audiences
• A proactive approach to identifying risk mitigation opportunities and developing new frameworks or procedures to support control and governance agenda
• Experience consulting on complex issues and providing expert advice to key stakeholders to resolve escalated matters
• The ability to influence and convince stakeholders to achieve the right outcomes
• Strong organisational skills, with a track record of tracking deliverables to completion and driving progress over time
