We are currently recruiting for a Safety Engineer – Aviation Investigation to join our client’s Aviation Safety team on a temporary basis, with potential for extension.
The role will focus on investigating aviation safety occurrences and incidents, identifying causal factors and Human Factors, and supporting the organisation’s Safety Management System.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct investigations into aviation safety occurrences and incidents. Liaise with stakeholders and subject matter experts at all levels. Conduct interviews and ensure investigations are fully documented in Centrik. Identify causal factors, Human Factors and potential aviation safety risks. Identify weaknesses in safety barriers and support risk mitigation. Brief the Aviation Safety Manager and Accountable Managers on investigation progress and findings. Support Event Review Groups (ERG), DASOR investigations and completion of actions. Analyse and trend safety data, identifying recurring safety issues. Support offsite investigations in the UK and overseas where required. Contribute to safety initiatives, business improvement and the development of a positive Just Safety Culture.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aviation safety/investigation experience who is confident working with stakeholders and analysing safety events and data Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
