Job Description - Senior Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive (Quota Carrier) with proven experience selling Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) or Accounts Receivable solutions to UK mid‑market and enterprise corporates.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth for FIS GetPaid, our market‑leading accounts receivable and working capital optimisation platform. You will lead complex, consultative sales cycles with senior finance stakeholders, helping organisations improve cash flow, reduce DSO, mitigate credit risk, and modernise their receivables operations.

This role requires deep domain knowledge of O2C / receivables, credibility with CFO‑level buyers, and a demonstrable track record of closing enterprise‑grade software deals in the UK market.

About the team

You will join a specialist EMEA sales team focused on credit‑to‑cash and working capital solutions. The team works closely with solution consultants, product specialists, and professional services to deliver high‑value, outcome‑driven solutions to corporate clients.

What you will be doing

  • Own and execute a new‑business sales strategy for Order‑to‑Cash / Accounts Receivable solutions across the UK and Ireland
  • Prospect, qualify, and close mid‑market and enterprise corporate opportunities, managing long, consultative sales cycles
  • Engage senior finance stakeholders including CFOs, Finance Directors, Heads of Credit, AR Leaders, and Shared Services leads
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover receivables, cash‑flow, and credit challenges, positioning FIS GetPaid as a strategic solution
  • Build compelling, value‑based business cases aligned to financial outcomes (DSO reduction, cash acceleration, risk reduction)
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and deal governance accurately in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with presales, product, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are commercially sound and deliverable
  • Represent FIS at relevant UK industry events and client forums

What you bring (essential)

  • Proven track record selling Order‑to‑Cash, Accounts Receivable, or Receivables Automation solutions
  • Demonstrated success selling to UK mid‑market and enterprise corporates (not banks or SMB only)
  • Strong understanding of O2C processes including invoicing, collections, credit management, dispute management, and cash application
  • Experience running complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles with senior finance buyers
  • Consistent history of exceeding quota in enterprise software or fintech sales
  • Excellent executive‑level communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a senior, quota‑carrying role
  • Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland
  • Experience selling credit‑to‑cash, AR automation, or working capital platforms
  • Familiarity with ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and finance transformation programmes
  • Established network within UK finance, credit, or shared services communities
  • Background selling SaaS or enterprise platforms into complex corporate environments
