Senior Sales Executive

OA are recruiting for a Senior Sales Executive to join our client's highly successful and growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the construction industry and heavyside building materials. You'll play a key role in driving branch sales, developing long-term customer relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Location: Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead
Hours: 7.30am-4.30pm, 1hr for lunch.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus depending on experience

Senior Sales Executive Key Responsibilities

Support Branch Management with sales and marketing activities
Identify, develop and maximise new business opportunities
Build and strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers
Sell heavyside building materials to both trade and retail customers while maintaining profitability
Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales process
Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
Support the onboarding and development of new customer accounts
Assist with new product launches and promotional initiatives
Maintain Health & Safety standards and company procedures
Senior Sales Executive Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a builders' merchant or construction materials environment
Strong knowledge of heavyside building materials
Proven sales and negotiation experience with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Excellent account management and relationship-building skills
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to maximise margins and profitability
Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Confident building relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels
Experience preparing quotations and negotiating pricing
Organised with excellent time management and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proactive with a positive attitude
Good understanding of Health & Safety within a construction or merchant environment
