Job Description:
As a Senior Advertising Executive, you will be responsible for driving advertising revenue growth by cultivating relationships with advertisers and agencies, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering innovative advertising solutions that align with our brand values and audience interests.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential advertising clients and agencies within the vegan food and lifestyle space, developing a pipeline of qualified leads for new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising clients and agencies, serving as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for all advertising-related inquiries and campaigns.
Consultative Selling: Understand the advertising objectives and target audience of clients and develop customized advertising solutions that meet their needs and align with our editorial content and audience demographics.
Pitching and Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the unique value proposition of advertising with our publication and the benefits of reaching our engaged and passionate audience.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate advertising rates, packages, and contracts with clients to maximize revenue while ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both parties, and secure signed agreements to close deals.
Campaign Management: Collaborate with the advertising operations team to ensure the successful execution of advertising campaigns, including ad placements, creative assets, and campaign delivery, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor the performance of advertising campaigns using analytics tools and metrics, and provide regular performance reports and insights to clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of their campaigns and identifying opportunities for optimization.
Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and the competitive landscape in the advertising and vegan lifestyle sectors and incorporate new insights into sales strategies and client engagements.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in advertising sales or account management, preferably within the publishing or media industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively convey the value proposition of advertising with our publication.
Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence decision-makers and close deals.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
