Senior Sales Manager - Scientific/Life Sciences

We are working with a Biotech company in Cambridgeshire seeking a proactive Senior Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand their customer base in Europe. This role is crucial for their ambitious expansion in the biopharmaceutical sector. They are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to work in the team to help drive growth in sales in their groundbreaking product. You would need to have a strong background in Sales as well as knowledge with protein assay instrumentation, or lab automation. 

Role Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the European sales strategy.

Acquire new customers and expand existing accounts; engaging with top professionals in biotech and pharma sectors.

Represent the company at industry events.

Report on sales performance and develop forecasts.

Collaborate with product development and marketing teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or related field.

Proven Sales experience, including with a leadership role.

Proven track record in exceeding sales goals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.

CRM proficiency.

Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Europe.
