Hyland is seeking a Senior Sales Solution Engineer to provide technical and industry expertise to our sales team and customers throughout the pre-sales process. In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, driving solution strategy, delivering compelling demonstrations, and ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation. Here's What You'll Do

• Act as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, applying extensive knowledge of solutions and industry verticals to lead pre-sales meetings, identify technical requirements, and formulate winning solution strategies.
• Create and present compelling, tailored demonstrations of proposed solution strategies to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in.
• Coordinate with global services teams to transition key account information and remain actively involved in the handoff process to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Compose thorough internal documentation reflecting all activity related to the solution strategy and provide high-quality technical responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Take proactive measures to identify internal efficiencies, remain current on best practices and market trends, and represent Hyland at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to fellow team members; collaborate with product development in support of solution enhancements and contribute insights to leadership on team technical capabilities.

Role Essentials

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the role.
2. Significant experience in technical sales with relevant industry or technology expertise, including hands-on experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and general software implementation methodologies.
3. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging, informative, and compelling presentations; communicates with ease, clarity, and impact using a style appropriate to the subject and audience.
4. Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within a team and across other areas; demonstrated ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and drive consensus across stakeholders.
5. Self-directed with the ability to manage projects to completion in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a commitment to continuous professional development. Up to 60% travel time required.

What We'd Like to See

1. Experience presenting at industry trade shows, conferences, or events as a subject matter expert or technical spokesperson.
2. Familiarity with SaaS or cloud-based enterprise software platforms and modern integration architectures.
3. Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members within a pre-sales or solutions engineering environment.
4. Exposure to working with global or cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to support complex customer engagements.
5. Knowledge of current market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the enterprise content management space.
