Title:  Senior SAP Consultant (DoD Financial Systems)
Client:  Federal Agency
Location:  Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (Onsite)
Clearance:  Secret
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
Number of Position(s): 1
Work Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Work Day:  Monday – Friday

Aalis Management Consulting seeks a Senior SAP Consultant with deep expertise in DoD Financial Management Systems to support DoD ERP initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP ECC integrations, upgrades, and optimizations for DoD financial systems.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot interfaces between LMP, GFEBS, and other DoD ERP systems.
  • Resolve complex SAP functional/technical issues (e.g., FI/CO modules, MM, FM) in LMP/GFEBS environments.
  • Develop and validate SAP Tables, ABAP programs, and backend configurations to meet DoD requirements.
  • Lead system testing, gap analysis, and post-implementation support for SAP deployments.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders on SAP workflows and DoD financial policies.
  • Ensure compliance with DAWIA, DFARS, and DoD audit readiness standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Must have10+ years of experience with:
    • DoD Financial ERP systems (SAP ECC, LMP, GFEBS).
    • DoD system implementations/upgrades and SAP backend components.
    • Troubleshooting LMP/GFEBS interfaces, IDOCs, and data reconciliation.
  • Mastery of SAP Tables, Transaction Codes, and ABAP debugging.
  • Proven ability to translate DoD business needs into SAP technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Management Information Systems.
  • DAWIA Certification (Business/Financial Management Level II/III) or CDFM.
  • SAP Certifications (e.g., SAP FI/CO, MM, or FM).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or DoD Audit Readiness.
