Purpose Statement:  The Security Specialist role will assist site leadership and the Security Team lead through a detailed ability to achieve security goals with our security systems. The security specialist SR will have a mastery of the Plexus Security systems and the ability to teach general system users.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Provide direct assistance at the site level in executing the overall corporate security philosophy through a detailed understanding and use of the Site Security Systems.
• Protect site assets and personnel through programing of CCTV, Access control and Visitor Management Systems.
  Assisting in security audits and evaluations dealing with the Plexus Security systems to identify areas of vulnerability and ensure alignment with Plexus' security standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers by utilizing "How can I help" relationship building approach. The Security Specialist Sr will be a role model for internal and external customer communication.
• Work closely with the Corporate Security Manager and Corporate Facilities team to ensure physical and technological equipment required by the Plexus Site Minimum Standards is acquired, programed and utilized to its potential. The Security Specialist Sr will develop a more strategic outlook on the Plexus Security Systems and take the lead role when upgrades and transitions take place.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
