Senior Site Engineer

TLG Infrastructure are recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to work for a leading contractor in London on a 62 week contract.

Our client delivers specialist redevelopment schemes in London involving structural alterations, new RC/ steel structures, demolition and basement construction.

Responsibilities:

Lead site engineering activities for demolition, temporary works, and underpinning operations.
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and in accordance with drawings, specifications, and approved methodologies.
Manage quality assurance through Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection Requests (IRs), hold points, and quality records.
Inspect and verify demolition sequencing, underpinning excavations, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works.
Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and implement corrective actions.
Verify material approvals, test results, and compliance with project specifications and British Standards.
Carry out setting out, survey verification, and as-built records (minimal setting out)
Coordinate with designers, temporary works engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and testing laboratories to resolve technical issues.
Monitor structural movement, temporary works, and critical construction stages.
Maintain accurate QA documentation, site records, and handover dossiers.This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting longevity with a high end client in London.
