Senior Site Engineer

We are working with a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Senior Site Engineer for their expanding team in the East of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, working on a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the site team, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme.

As the Senior Site Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Setting out and surveying for civil engineering and infrastructure works.

· Providing technical guidance and support to Site Engineers and the wider site team.

· Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information to ensure works are delivered correctly.

· Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records.

· Liaising with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors and design teams to resolve technical issues.

· Supporting the delivery of works safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

· Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure.

· Strong setting-out and surveying experience.

· The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

· Good knowledge of construction processes, quality requirements and health & safety.

· Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
