Senior Social worker

Location: South West London
Salary: £49,000 - £51,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reports To: Team Manager / Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Children's Social Worker to join our dedicated team in South West London. This full-time, permanent role involves safeguarding vulnerable children, assessing their needs, and working closely with families and multi-agency partners to improve outcomes for children in the community.

• Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and risks.

• Develop and implement child-centred care plans.

• Support children and families to make positive changes.

• Manage a caseload with timely interventions and reviews.

• Attend child protection conferences, court hearings, and multi-agency meetings.

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and case notes.

• Promote safeguarding policies and respond promptly to concerns.

• Collaborate effectively with schools, health professionals, and community agencies.

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England or equivalent.

• Experience working with children and families in a social work role.

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and relevant legislation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage complex cases and work under pressure.
