Introduction

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Social Work Qualified Practitioner. We are looking for an inspirational social worker for the Children with Disabilities, Family Help Team who is also a skilled and reflective practitioner who is creative and can work with children and their families in an innovative way to ensure they receive the right help at the right time. We are looking for applicants who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and who have the experience and confidence to work with children with disabilities.

As a Senior Social Worker, you’ll work creatively and collaboratively with children, young people and their families, using relational, trauma‑informed and strength‑based approaches. You’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality interventions, coordinating multi‑agency support and contributing to reflective practice across the team.

Location

The job is primarily based in32 Rushey Green, Catford, London, SE6 4JF There are 2 local train stations 3-5 minutes’ walk from the office, and the train journey from London Bridge is approximately 15 minutes. There are also numerous bus routes that stop right by the office.

We operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

• The post holder must have a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England


• Must be 2 years post qualified for this role


• The job is subject to a DBS check (Enhanced)

Salary

£51,831 - £53,994 per annum (SCP 35-37 / SSW)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
