Senior Social Worker - MASH Team

Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Lewisham to recruit for a Senior Social Worker in the MASH Team within the Social Care industry. This will be on a permanent basis paying £48,618-£50,646 per annum.

Responsibilities include:

• Extensive experience of section 47 investigations.
• Risk management.
• Screening referrals.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Investigating any concerns of neglect through section 47 investigations.
• Clear understanding of the principle and function of a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub.
• Evidence of ability to use analytical skills to determine positive outcomes for children and young people within tight timescales.
• Previous experience of working with partner agencies to gather information essential.
• Managing staff
• Supervise Social Workers and Case Management Officers
• Handle complex cases, including MCA Assessments, Court of Protection applications, and s42 safeguarding enquiries

Experience preferred:

• Post qualifying experience of working as a Senior Social Worker in a MASH Team in the UK.

• This is a role within the Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:

• HCPC Registration
• 3 year post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
