Senior Software Engineer

About us 

We are a small tech company looking to modernise commercial real estate development backed and funded by Patrizia, one of the largest operators in the industry.  

Earlier this year we launched a marketplace for real estate-developers to raise debt for their projects. Now we are starting to work on a new product that we aim to launch early next year. 

Our team 

We started building our tech team earlier this year and there are now five of us, engineers, product managers, and ux design/researchers and we are laser focused on understanding and solving our customers' problems. We take pride in our work, work collaboratively and strive to help each other grow and develop.  

Our office is in London Marylebone, and we work flexibly but value seeing each other face to face and so we aim to work together in the office two days a week (when allowed).  

We’ve built a modern tech stack consisting of Python Quart/Flask and Typescript React stack running on AWS-ECS. The challenge we face is developing platforms that our customers love to use. 

The role 

This is a senior full stack role with an expectation that you bias towards frontend development. You will be developing our apps collaboratively using Typescript-React (frontend) and Python-Quart/Flask (backend) and deploying to AWS-ECS multiple times a day. Prior experience with Python is an advantage but not required.  

This role has scope to develop into a team lead role over the next 12 months.

We are looking for a motivated software engineer who is passionate about frontend development, to complement our existing backend skills. You should have experience developing React apps and a desire to share your knowledge with our team.
