Are you passionate about quality and excellence in software testing? Our EdTech client is seeking a talented Software Test Developer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge data analytics project on AWS.
Role Overview:
As a Software Test Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of a high-performance data analytics pipeline. You'll work in an agile, fast-paced environment with a geographically distributed team. This position offers growth visibility as you will be one of the client's first hires in Northern Ireland.
Quality Advocacy:

Champion quality and integrity in every test phase.
Privacy & Security:

Ensure comprehensive test coverage to protect privacy, security, and data integrity.
Team Collaboration:

Work closely with your project team to outline and meet test requirements.
Leadership in Agile:

Provide strong leadership during agile scrum and planning processes.
Exploratory Testing:

Conduct thorough exploratory testing, identifying and reporting defects.
Test Infrastructure:

Build, deploy, and maintain a robust test infrastructure for the data analytics pipeline in AWS.
Reusable Code:

Develop and maintain reusable test code and libraries.
Performance Testing:

Design, execute, and report on benchmarks for stress, performance, scalability, and other non-functional tests.
Continuous Improvement:

Collaborate with other test teams to innovate and enhance testing methodologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with terminal scripting and AWS CLI.
Hands-on experience with AWS services.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and/or Jenkins.
Competence in automated testing using scripting languages like Robot Framework and Python.
Experience with databases, particularly SQL and AWS Athena, is highly desirable.
