Job Details:

Salary range: £64,938 - £70,860 per annum
Work location: 145 King Street, Hammersmith, London W6 9XY with hybrid working included.
Hours per week: 36 
Contract type: Permanent

About the roles

We are a dynamic and ambitious local authority involved in a number of interesting redevelopment projects and other schemes to improve the lives of the residents of the borough.  We are looking for individuals who will lead by example, modelling and embedding the Council’s values and behaviours.  You will work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and other stakeholders to help build a sustainable, highly effective organisation and to strengthen our reputation as a successful council delivering great value for its communities.


 


We have a strong commitment to delivering efficient, cost‑effective and high‑quality legal services that support the Council’s objectives and priorities and deliver real value for our residents.  Our Legal Services team plays a central role in enabling good governance, managing risk and supporting Councillors. We are seeking motivated and collaborative legal professionals who are committed to customer focus, continuous improvement, service excellence and ongoing professional development.


 


We have a hybrid working model and staff will be expected to attend the office 2-3 days a week. Staff will be supported to do this with mobile IT equipment and hot desk facilities in all offices across the borough.

This role will assist the Head of Law (Place) in all aspects of contracts and procurement including drafting contracts/grant agreements, advising on procurements, advising on related matters in the Technology and Construction Court. Provide expert legal advice on local government contracts and procurement law.
