• 3 days per week on-site in Warrington (mandatory), 2 WFH

Our client is looking for a Senior Solutions Security Architect to lead the vision and strategy for security architecture within their organisation. This role will ensure staff have secure access to business services, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of data in a challenging environment.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Lead the definition of security requirements and design as part of a strength-in-depth approach to solution design across data, application, and infrastructure architecture.
• Develop and implement cyber security patterns, policies, and standards to shape solution design.
• Apply deep understanding of security concepts at a technical level.
• Drive the evolution of security automation and tooling.
• Foster new approaches to cyber security and represent Security Architecture in technology governance.
• Engage with the entire Enterprise Architecture team to provide consistent design and governance, under the direction of the Head of Cyber Security.
• Lead the definition of standards, patterns, and other architectural artefacts that guide the implementation of the Architecture for the Data and Information Architecture domains.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering effective security architecture in high-security environments
• Familiarity with best practice approaches, methods, and techniques for information security
• Experience in technology governance, capable of running governance forums and guiding programmes to compliance.
• Experience in managing cyber security in a multi-supplier environment.
• Good knowledge of the Data, Information and Security Architecture domains, including the related capabilities and tools.
• Good knowledge of Azure cloud platforms and how these can be exploited effectively for enterprise benefit
