We're looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our Senior Kitchen team and help lead the team in delivering a high standard of food.

·         Guiding and supporting the Kitchen team, ensuring they have the skills required to deliver an excellent standard of food

·         A hands-on approach, supporting the Head Chef in the day-day running of the Kitchen

·         Planning menus within cost targets

·         Controlling food costs and achieving gross profit targets (including monitoring waste)

·         Ensuring processes are in place to achieve high standards of cleanliness, consistently

·         Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements

 Senior Sous Chef will have:

• Proven track record as a Sous chef within a quality hotel
• Ability to lead and effectively supervise the kitchen team
• High standards of hygiene and Health & Safety controls
• Knowledge of computerised ordering system
• Enthusiastic and motivated with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Calm under pressure while maintaining an assertive but professional manner
• The ability to work 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis, weekend work is included
