The Role:

WeTransfer Advertising (WTA) is a core pillar of the WeTransfer business. Our premium ads differentiate us from other publishers and our users and clients love our ads. WeTransfer has historically operated a ‘’freemium model’’, generating revenue from advertising on the wetransfer.com site for anonymous and free users, as well as through subscriptions across all other products. Currently, the annual revenue is roughly 50/50 split between Advertising and Subscriptions.

WeTransfer Advertising has seen significant growth in recent years, but for us to get to the next level of scale, we are hiring for a key role in our B2B Marketing team.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Specialist, Content & Digital Marketing. The ideal candidate will possess experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on the Advertising space, and a proven track record of implementing effective marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline growth. A comprehensive understanding of the Advertising world dynamics and the experience to tailor solutions to different markets is essential for this role. The ideal candidate is an outstanding writer and communicator and brings excellent knowledge of digital marketing best practices to the team.

This person will work closely with leadership across regions and reports to the B2B Marketing Director.

Your responsibilities:

  • Content Marketing: Define content needs to achieve strategic marketing objectives and lead on creation. This includes sales materials, such as go-to-market narratives, media kits, case studies, pitch presentations and presentations for key business moments. An important part of this role is also the content planning and development for all B2B marketing campaigns.

  • Digital Marketing: Implement and optimize marketing strategies across various digital channels, including SEO, email marketing, social media, and account-based marketing platforms.

  • Communication Plans: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans. Capture and leverage content from activations for use in digital campaigns and social media posts.

  • Insights: Work closely with the customer insights team to feed audience insights into all content and support strategic pitches through data-led storytelling.

  • Measurement: Evaluate and understand the audience journey to enhance marketing and go-to-market efforts. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Collaborative Projects: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align digital marketing and content strategies with overall business goals. Collaborate with sales, customer insights, and strategy team teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing 

  • Experience in the Advertising industry, with excellent comprehension of the latest trends and technologies. Knowledge of the US market is a plus.

  • Ability to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that achieve measurable results

  • Account-based marketing experience - from ideation to execution.

  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
