Elastic is searching for you! A highly organized, enthusiastic, and proactive Comms Coordinator to support our EMEA Public Relations (PR) team. If you are starting your career in communications and you are passionate about technology, this role is perfect for you. You will join a truly international team on a mission to build a generational brand. In this position, you will learn the fundamentals of media relations, event management, and social media while having fun along the way.
Your role will cover the EMEA region, and you will assist the team in delivering integrated communication programs across four countries. This position may require occasional travel, as needed.
What You Will Be Doing
20% PR agency enablement: Act as a central point of contact to ensure all regional PR agencies have the necessary materials to execute campaigns efficiently:
Take ownership of keeping the EMEA spokesperson matrix and commentary bank up-to-date.
Assist in the distribution and localization of press releases, briefing documents, and pitch materials for various EMEA markets.
Maintain and update media lists ensuring accuracy and relevance.
40% Content pipeline: maintain a healthy content pipeline to guarantee consistent media presence and visibility throughout the year:
Byline articles: Oversee and manage the end-to-end approval flow for bylined articles and thought leadership content, coordinating feedback and sign-off among internal stakeholders.
Content Pipeline Health: Monitor and ensure regional PR agencies maintain a healthy, proactive content pipeline to guarantee consistent media presence.
25% Coverage sharing & social amplification: Own and manage the amplification of comms efforts by ensuring coverage and results are effectively distributed:
Internal stakeholders : Share key coverage and announcements with internal stakeholders via dedicated email updates or Slack channels.
Social amplification: Utilize internal social sharing tools to ensure broader team distribution and amplification by employees.
5% Event Support: Provide hands-on logistical support for virtual and in-person events, media tours, and product launches across the region.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
4 - 8 years of experience. Prior experience in a corporate PR department or PR agency is highly desirable.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in Google Workspace.
Familiarity with PR measurement/monitoring tools is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with a multicultural team.
Savvy social media user who excels at creating engaging and compelling content.
Bonus Points
Proficiency in a second EMEA language (e.g., French, German, Dutch) is a strong advantage.
Knowledge in Generative Engine Optimization and SEO is a plus.
