Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Horsham
Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (FTE) + £1/hour location allowance
Hours: 30 hours per week

We are seeking a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our passionate multidisciplinary team in Horsham, delivering expert care to adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI) in a residential neurorehabilitation setting.

You’ll lead the speech and language therapy provision, working across our Neurobehavioural, Neurorestorative, and Well-being pathways, helping individuals regain lost skills, improve independence, and achieve personal goals.

• Provide specialist assessment and intervention for communication and swallowing difficulties

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individual therapy and care plans

• Contribute to clinical leadership and service development

• Supervise and support junior SaLTs and assistants

• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team including psychology, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy

• Maintain accurate documentation in line with legal and professional standards

• Deliver training to staff on communication and dysphagia management

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration

• Minimum 4 years post-registration experience, with 2+ years in neurorehabilitation or similar

• Strong knowledge of neurological conditions and complex communication disorders

• Dysphagia experience and competency essential

• Excellent communication and teamworking skills

• Clinical supervision experience desirable
