Senior Stores Manager - Engineering

My client, an Engineering company based in Pershore is looking to recruit a Senior Stores Manager with an Engineering background n a Permanent basis.

You will be responsible for managing Goods-in, Raw Material Warehousing, recording of stores issues, supporting inventory control as well as material replenishment

The main responsibilities of the role include

- Ensure Health and Safety are adhered to at all times
- Be responsible for stores area
- Work closely with Procurement Team to ensue stock levels are correct
- Take responsibility for cost control of stock
- Work closely wit quality control team to ensure goods inward are checked prior to booking in
- Supervise Waste Disposal on-site
- Ensure stores tem are suitable trained in terms of H & S and Cyber Security
- Ensure storage of dangerous substances/materials are compliant with appropriate guidance

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Previous experience in a similar role within Engineering ideally with knowledge of metals
- Counterbalance FLT License
- Experience of ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to understand BOM's and Kitting lists
- Experience of defense, Rail or Automotive standards

The salary on offer is up to £40,000
