Location: London
Rate: £42.00 PAYE | £56.60 Umbrella
Reporting to: Principal Engineer
Team Management: Supervision of up to 8 staff, including permanent employees, agency staff and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of highways, street lighting and civil engineering projects.
Supervise, mentor and develop a team of up to 8 staff members.
Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Monitor project performance, budgets and service standards.
Deputise for the Principal Engineer when required.
Experience managing complex engineering projects and programmes of work.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Knowledge of current legislation, policies and best practice relating to highways and engineering services.

Essential Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Highways Engineering, Civil Engineering, Street Lighting Engineering or a related discipline.
Demonstrable post-qualification experience across a broad range of engineering projects
