The Senior Supply Planner will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising supply chain operations within the FMCG industry. This position requires expertise in supply and demand planning, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of goods.

Description

• Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, with a focus on supply & demand planning, inventory control, procurement, and production planning.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of plans.
• Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into actionable supply and production plans.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance in coordination with procurement teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain optimization projects.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to key stakeholders on supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.

Profile

A successful Senior Supply Planner should have:

• 2-5 years of experience in supply chain or production planning, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, with practical experience in inventory management, procurement and production planning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Advanced level of Excel.
• A proactive and analytical mindset with a desire to grow and take on increasing responsibility.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools would be ideal.
