Senior Supported Housing Worker

Red Snapper Recruitment are looking for a Senior Supported Housing Worker to join our client on Perm. This is based in Wiltshire, covering Trowbridge and Salisbury.

Our client is a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. We run several projects and every year we help thousands of people out of homelessness, into employment, away from domestic abuse, and more

• Full time [37.5 hrs] | Permanent
• £27,810 per year
• Participation in an on-call out-of-hours rota
• A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
• Manage a team of 6.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive line management and supervision to the team members, ensuring regular reviews are in place.
• Provide a caseload of clients with high-quality person-centred services which take a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.
• Maintain accurate records using our client record management system, INFORM.
• Deal with local incidents and safeguarding, ensuring action is taken, communicated, followed up and recorded.
• Carry out appropriate health, safety and compliance actions.

Requirements:

• Experience working with individuals with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
• Knowledge and understanding of the care and support requirements of people experiencing social exclusion.
• A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
