Want real influence across every discipline of a connected hardware product, rather than staying boxed into one layer of the stack?

We're working with a fast-growing connected-device business building an advanced IoT hardware product with real system architecture and connectivity complexity. They need a Senior System Engineer to shape requirements across system, hardware, embedded, ATE, software and integration, contribute to design decisions in each discipline, and lead proof-of-concept and field testing.

What You'll Bring

Experience in system engineering of multidisciplinary hardware products
Background working with communication products, embedded systems, hardware or RF
A natural problem-solver who works well both independently and in a team
Quick to get to grips with new, complex IoT concepts and weigh up alternative approaches
Comfortable operating on projects that demand real technical depth across disciplinesAlso Valued

Comfortable in a Linux environment
Experience with Atlassian tools and/or Azure DevOps
Curiosity about applying agentic AI to discovery and innovation work
Coding ability in C, C#, Java or Python
Familiarity with RF technologies such as BLE, WiFi, LTE-M or LoRa
Some backend or serverless systems knowledge
Exposure to cloud infrastructure for IoT productsIf you want genuine cross-disciplinary ownership on a technically rich product, this is a role where that scope is real.
