We have an opportunity for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our Global Tax Group team based in our office in Bracknell, UK. You will provide support for regional tax compliance, reporting and planning responsibilities and will assist with various regional tax matters. This role will contribute to shareholder value while fulfilling tax compliance and reporting obligations.

• Tax Return Compliance- Coordination of tax return preparation by third party service providers. Review tax filings to ensure accurate reporting. Preparation of working papers and assistance in compilation of data.
• Tax Research and Planning- Identify, research and evaluate alternative tax positions. Determine and implement supportable, cost-effective filing positions for tax return filings
• Tax Audits and Controversies- Assist in responding to requests for information from tax government officials. Support the defense of tax filing positions during audits. Interact with current and former business groups to coordinate and implement audit strategies
• Financial Reporting- Review annual tax provisions. Review tax provision-to-return reconciliations to be recorded and submitted for global consolidation
• Planning Activities- Collaborate with business units to proactively identify and research tax planning opportunities
• Group Rationalization and Restructuring- Assist with evaluating tax consequences of UK group and legal entity rationalization activities
• SAO, CIR, BRR & CbCR- Responsibility for filing the Senior Accounting Officer certificate. Responsibility for Corporate Interest Restriction returns. Country-by-country notifications. Coordination of HMRC Business Risk Review activities
• Stay abreast of legal developments and industry positions to accurately evaluate options and responses to requests for information. Monitor industry positions relevant to Honeywell’s business operations.

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accountancy or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in directly related and progressively responsible tax positions
• Strong working knowledge of UK tax rules and regulations
• Ideally CTA, ACCA or ACA qualified with substantial tax experience
• Big Four or large accounting firm experience would be an advantage
• Understanding of US GAAP would be an advantage
