Senior Tax Consultant - Dudley
£30,000-£40,000 + Benefits | Full-Time | Office-Based

A highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Dudley is looking for a Senior Tax Consultant to join its growing personal tax team. With over 75 years of heritage and a strong reputation for client care, the firm works with a broad and varied portfolio and is known for its down-to-earth, collaborative working culture.

This is a full-time, office-based role (35 hours per week) suited to someone with at least two years of personal tax experience, who is confident managing their own client portfolio and advising a mix of individuals, trustees, and companies.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit:

  • Personal Tax Returns

  • Trust Returns and R185s

  • Residential Property Returns

  • P11Ds

• Handle queries and provide advice on:

  • Personal Tax

  • Trusts and IHT

  • Tax Planning and Advisory Work

  • PAYE/NIC and comparative calculations (Limited vs Personal Tax)

  • Statutory Residence Tests and Certificates of Residence

• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC

• Manage your own client portfolio

• Accounts preparation experience is beneficial but not essential
