Senior Tax Manager – Cross-Border – if not you who?

Location: Milton Keynes

£80k - £110k + bonus

The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for someone with a strong track record in Private Client tax. You will play an integral key part of the team delivering client service and actively engaging in business development by bringing innovative offerings to the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust relationships with a portfolio clients, always identifying opportunities for new business.
2. Expanding your internal and external network, generating new business, focusing on allocated clients and targets.
3. You will also have experience in contributing to the management of the local team, including coaching and developing team members.
4. Cultivating strong relationships with Corporate Finance colleagues and providing tax advice to shareholders undergoing transactions.
5. Assessing clients' personal tax positions, developing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
6. Project manage the delivery of tax advice and its subsequent implementation.
7. Controlling the financial aspects of assignments through WIP management and billing.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with extensive personal tax knowledge and experience.

Experience and Background:

1. Strong technical specialist knowledge and expertise across all Private Client advisory matters which includes shareholder tax planning, transaction-based advice and advising on key tax reliefs.
2. A strong commercial awareness that facilitates confident dialogue with business owners, complementing your technical knowledge.
3. A proven track record of building long-term client relationships with high-ranking C-suite senior executives and shareholders, leading to advisory opportunities.
