Senior Tax Manager, Private Client Tax

Location: Birmingham

£70k - £96k + bonus

The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for someone with a demonstrable track record in delivering Private Client tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. The incumbent will have experience in developing and maintaining robust relationships with your portfolio clients, identifying opportunities for new work.
2. You will be expected to generate new business, focusing on allocated clients and targets.
3. The postholder will be charged with being responsibility for coaching and developing team members.
4. You will have exposure to assessing clients' personal tax positions, recommending solutions to complex challenges.
5. Project manage the delivery of tax advice and its subsequent implementation.
6. Controlling the financial aspects of assignments through WIP management and billing.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with solid personal tax expertise.

Experience and Background:

1. Excellent technical specialist knowledge and expertise across all Private Client advisory matters, including shareholder tax planning, transaction-based advice and advising on key tax reliefs (such as BADR and BPR).
2. A strong commercial awareness that enables confident dialogue with business owners, complementing your technical knowledge.
3. A demonstrable track record of building robust client relationships at C-suite level.
