The Role

You will be responsible for managing and advising clients on a wide range of personal tax matters, with a particular focus on advisory work and general tax planning. This varied role will give you exposure to complex tax issues while allowing you to build strong, trusted relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage an interesting and diverse portfolio of clients

Prepare complex self-assessment and partnership tax returns

Review tax returns prepared by other members of the team

Oversee the preparation and review of Trust and Estate accounts and associated tax returns

Supervise the preparation of 60-day CGT returns

Review clients’ circumstances and provide proactive tax planning advice

Assist with new client enquiries and contribute to the growth of the client base

About You

CTA qualified candidates will be preferred, although practical experience is highly valued

Candidates with other tax or accounting qualifications, or those qualified by experience, are encouraged to apply

Competitive salary package commensurate with experience - £45,000 - £60,000

Schedule

Full-time or part-time considered

Flexible working hours between 8am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday

Friday hours: 8am – 1.30pm when the office closes for the weekend
