Newcastle-under-Lyme Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm Circa £35,000 + Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Team Leader to join a well-known and highly successful food manufacturing business with an excellent reputation for quality, employee development and continued investment. As Senior Team Leader, you'll play a key role in leading production operations, ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Productivity are achieved while developing and supporting your team to deliver outstanding performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for motivating teams, driving efficiency, monitoring KPIs and ensuring production plans are delivered on time and in full. You'll work closely with Production, Technical, Engineering and Quality teams to maintain high operational standards and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop production teams to achieve operational targets Drive a strong Health & Safety and Food Safety culture Ensure quality, customer and company standards are consistently met Monitor performance, productivity and waste reduction initiatives Support training, coaching and development across the team Manage staffing, line performance and shift activities Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP and manufacturing best practice standardsAbout You
We're looking for candidates with:
Previous Team Leader, Senior Team Leader or Supervisory experience within Food Manufacturing, FMCG or a fast-paced production environment Strong leadership and people management skills Experience driving KPIs and operational performance Good understanding of Food Safety, Quality and Health & Safety standards A proactive and positive approach with excellent communication skills The ability to motivate teams and lead by exampleWhy Apply?
